Review: Best leak proof cobbler shaker yet! - I’ve been looking for a good cobbler shaker for a year but not bought one due to my arthritis making it difficult for me to open the fully metal ones. In the past I’ve had shakers seal themselves with the cocktail stuck inside forevermore as no amount of bashing or hot water would release the seal. The oxo shaker is amazing! The rubber seals on both lid parts (strainer and the cap) clipped together easily. I shook my cocktail until the whole of the outside was icy (still working on the perfect espresso martini) and then the cap popped off super easily allowing me to pour my cocktail out! The other pet also came of very easily so I could empty and rinsr straight away. I will mention that it isn’t double walled (and doesn’t claim to be) but this is exactly what I wanted and the single waaall didn’t affect the grip for me. When washing it prior to use I popped some art and fairy in it and shook without ice and surprisingly that didn’t leak either!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this cocktail shaker single-wall or double-wall? The Amazon description and the manufacturer description each say something different.**
A: This one is just a single wall, but seals up well for shaking.

**Q: Just received this in the mail, the strainer is not attached to the cap. Should I exchange it or return it? I don't see how it should be attached.**
A: The shaker should be three pieces. One is the actual cap that is the measuring device. If you hold the black section at the top and pull from the silver section just below it, it’ll pop off. The second part is the wide silver piece that goes over the actual cup and is below the cap. The second part is where the strainer is located. It should be a metal sheet with holes in it on the inside. The third part is the cup. If there is no strainer in the second part, then you should exchange it. It’s most likely a defect if it’s missing. It’s a really good mixing cup. It’s worth exchanging for a working one.

**Q: What is the stainless steel quality?  (18/8, 304, etc.)**
A: I have used this single wall shaker for two years and have found no dents or blemishes. The stainless steel quality is very good.

**Q: Is it 304 stainless steel?**
A: its stainless steel but I don't know about "304"

This shaker is great! Great size. Doesn't leak. Can make multiple drinks (3-4 drinks fit). So much better than a cobbler shaker. The lid never gets stuck on me. My new go to shaker for work now! Also I love that the lid doubles as a shot measuring pourer.
