Well written. Keeps you wanting to continue on to the next chapter. Love the point of view with the additional stories of others. I’m looking to run my first ultramarathon next year and I’m just consuming everything I can from those in the sport. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking or doing the same, or even any runner in general. It would make a good gift.

I have not yet read the other two running books by the same author. The book is very well written and narrated, which is rare within the topic. I found it both interesting and entertaining and, as someone who is dabbling in the sport for the past year, I could relate myself at times. Recently, I felt disappointed most of the times when exploring the quality of the somewhat limited ultra literature, but this book did not disappoint at all. This is the running book I have like the most since Haruki Murakami’s little book on running.
