So when I got to try the 8-piece Kitchen knife cutlery set, I was excited. What I like about this set is that it contains a Stainless Steel Chef Knife, Slicer knife, Utility knife, Bread knife, paring knife, cheese knife, pizza knife and it comes with a bonus ceramic peeler. This is a really good beginner knife set for any kitchen. I found that the chef knife, slicer knife and the utility knife are not very sharp when they arrive. I was able to run my finger across the blade and it didn’t break the skin. It’s not that big of a deal if you have a sharpener, which sadly we do not. I was expecting them to be kitchen ready out of the box. But it’s an easy fix in the long run. I did love the packaging on how the knives around. Each knife does come with a plastic piece protecting the tip of the knives. My favorite has to be the pizza knife, since I’ve never used one before. I found that it did a wonderful job and sliced through our pizza ring without any problems. I also liked that all the knives are all non-stick coated which makes them easier to clean. And because of the color coating, I knew which knife was what before I even grabbed for it. I also liked that the handles have a rubber non-slip grip and that the knives are BPA free in their coating. This is a great set to have for a younger couple or someone who is just starting out on their own.I did receive this product at discounted/free price for my review.
