Yes, this will fit the 2018 JKU **Q: will this fit a 1981 cj ?** A: This will not fit a 1981 CJ. It is only made for the 1997 and up TJs and JKs. **Q: Not ideal for rainy climates I’m guessing** A: If installed properly (to the rear) its fine for rainy climates. This should be used to create a cowl air flow for your A/C system to help boost its effectivity. **Q: Is this gloss black?** A: Not really, the texture is more matte or semi-gloss. It matches the oem trim and bumpers pretty well.
