Review: Top notch hoses: Flexible, durable, kink resistant - This is my second one of these hoses. They're darn good hoses the best I've found in years. They don't like to kink and if I DO manage to kink one, yea, it happens, it comes right out and doesn't hold it in memory. They're supple enough to handle easily, yet sturdy enough that they'll take a lot of use and dragging around. No swelling, the ends are strong and they roll up easily on my hose reels. Helpful hint, if mounting on a hose reel, where it connects to the reel, use a zip tie or two to hold the hose up a tad to ease the angle onto the reel to prevent it pulling down at a sharp angle and pinching off the water flow. I store them inside over winter, they sit in the sun all summer, water off and pressure released when not in use. The color has faded just a little but the rubber remains supple with no other visible degredation. I have one that's four years old now and it's still going strong.

**Q: Is this truly a non kink hose?**
A: It does come pretty close.  It twists a lot, which ultimately leads to kinks.  It’s not as bad as my past hoses.  You just have to fight it a little sometimes.

**Q: Can you drink water out of the hose?**
A: JoAnn, We generally advise that hoses with the aluminum couplings are safe to drink from after a little water goes through to clean out any bugs or random dirt, and to cool the water and end piece. **Q: How does it stand up to cold weather?**
A: It has done well so far for me, but we have not had a very cold winter this year in the south.  However, beware, I ignored the reviews that warned about kinking and should have listened.  This hose kinks terribly and I would not buy it again, even if it holds up in cold weather.

Purchased 2 100 foot hoses....they are GREAT! With both hoses, we are able to water our whole yard, front and back with minimal hose twisting...usually just twist the hose from the faucet end and the "kink" goes away...its durable but very flexible...highly recommend!
