A: I went out to the camper and crawled up a ladder just for you.  Looks like about 5 3/8" between opposite screws.  Also, the "square" formed by the mounting screws measures about 3 3/4" per side.

**Q: Will these speakers fit into a 4 1/2 hole in trailer?**
A: NO! The template says 4 15/16 of an inch!
