The battery compartment is placed at the bottom of the scooter and rain water got inside. (Gorilla tape will probably help stop this from happening).However I still recommend this scooter, it is a smooth ride great wheels and bearings, the handlebar adjusts easily it also folds down quickly and easily. The colours and design are far better than what other companies were offering for my child's age group. The deck is also large enough for him to stand on easily whilst I pull him along if he needs a break (he is very young).
