I intend to use it in New Zealand next year on a two month hunt. I collect and use many knives but I wanted one that could stand up to the harsh environment of a temperate rain forest such as New Zealand, or the British Columbian Coast. Because of KA-BAR quality I just bought the larger version in black for a survival type knife in the bush.
