The only drawback is that the slicer seems to dull fairly quickly. I sliced up probably 4-5 melons, first cutting the whole melon in half lengthwise with a knife, then using the slicer to cut all the rest, but on the last one, I had to do much more cutting first with the knife, cutting off all the rind, then used the slicer for the non-rind parts. The order does come with two slicers, so that’s good.
