The NT-A knife is essentially identical in design to the DeWalt DWHT10038 snap-off knife (which I also own) with the exception that the DeWalt is heavy metal and the NT-A is much lighter very solid plastic. Since I own both, I can choose to use either, and I use the NT-A.
