Got this for my new Fnirsi digital iron and the iron seats VERY well in the holder. The pleasant surprise was a tab under the top that keeps the iron fairly well aligned in holder, rather than hot tip resting against underside of the top. Even BETTER surprise is the end of the tab is bent forward [pic with red circle]. This prevents my tip (wider than the shaft) from slipping out when bumped! Picking up iron normally tilts it right to easily slip out. The variety of long tips I have slip into the top hole grid well with plenty of separation from loaded hot iron tip. Better organization and easy to spot and load tip I want before firing up. I now have the right holder for a nifty digital iron, and a place for tip cleaning pot that doesn't take up room on the silicone matt. This stand holds the desoldering gun up off the workbench in a much safer way and in the right position to easily pick it up and put it back. The brass tip cleaner is also my preferred method of cleaning tips to and this one is good.
