Supertape is a brand new hairpiece tape that has recently become popular for extended wear bond. It boasts an incredibly long-lasting hold time, similar to the Proflex line. However, many of our clients claim that it does not break down as much and is easier to clean after removal.

Review: I used this tape to make "homemade" tape in extensions. Wonderful product for what I used it for. I have zero idea how this product would work to secure a wig. Washed my hair several times and the tspe held up. Removed extensions with oil base tape remover and they came right out, I should add that I only kept extensions in for 4 weeks. There is a shine to the tape.... would buy this brand of tape again.

**Q: I have alopecia, no hair, wear lace wigs and a nylong wig cap. Will the tape still hold the wig in place with the nylon cap underneathe?**
A: Yes. What you do is not put the cap all the way at your hairline. Leave about 3/4" of front skin so that you can put tape there and wig will bond to your skin. You may want to try the Supertape Thin contour Lace front shape for the front hairline and by the roll everywhere else.

**Q: Is this tape good for waterproof or swimming? Full submerged swimming that is.**

This super tape is a really great product for those of you who utilize lace front wigs. I purchased this tape for a client of mine who lives in New York. I am only able to see my client once every six weeks and this tape does a great job of holding her unit in place so that she can rebound it herself. The tape says that it is a nonglare tape and this is 100% true. For those of you lace weight wearers or hair replacement system users who have a darker skin tone a nonglare tape is a huge asset. It may be nonglare on lighter skin with peach undertones but most tapes fail with darker skin tones. This super tape is great it lasts long and the price point was great as well.
