I also live in an area with a lot of radio interference, so I've run the gamut with antennas and amps and such. I got everything working very well, except for one specific band of channels I kept having a problem with the signal cutting out when a car would drive by (my antenna is pointed towards the street). I was ready to live with it but I managed to come across something on the internet that said to try an attenuator.Now I am not an electronics expert, nor do I know much about the theory of RF signals, but I was willing to gamble a few bucks. Placed one of these inline right before my splitter and suddenly the channel went from major glitches on a passing car, to only glitching slightly when a big truck would go by (but cars were ok). Always willing to experiment, I hooked up the second one, inline. Again, I have no idea what I'm doing, but if 1 worked, maybe 2 would work better. And honestly, it did. I have these both inline, connected to each other, between the antenna and my splitter and it has pretty much solved the glitching I was getting on that channel. Doesn't seem to have affected any other channels either.Whatever this gizmo is, it seems to work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had too much antenna signal! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on 22 November 2019* I live on the fringe of ATSC OTA TV reception where I need a powered amplifier to go from 19 channels to over 90. But some of the closer main channels like CBS and CW were so strong that tuners had pixelation problems or complete signal loss.Put one of these attenuators just before the hd homerun network tuner and we still get over 90 channels, but don't have the issue with those too-strong signals. They come in perfect - the signal strength dropped from 100% to 90-97% depending on the channel.This issue always became more of an issue when the leaves dropped from the trees.
