California Costumes Union General Ulysses S. Grant Boy Costume, One Color, X-Large

My son had to dress as Ulysses Grant. He wanted something he didn't have to wear all day and was easy to slip on when it was time for his speech. This absolutely was the answer. I honestly wasn't expecting much since its a costume, I was surprised. The hat is sturdy, the boot covers are decent vinyl. The Jacket surprised me the most. I thought the buttons would be plastic and if they are they fooled this mom. I did order one size up since reviews said it ran small. My son is 5th grade 10 yrs and 5ft tall. the XL fit perfectly!

This costume was the hit of Halloween. My 8 year old loved it and so did everyone else. I am giving it 3 stars because as soon as we pulled it out and put it on buttons were fell off. If I am paying 40 something for a Halloween costume I shouldn’t have to sew. It also doesn’t come with any of the weapons. Also for 40 something bucks it should. The main picture should not be sown with weapons either.But it was so cute.

This was AMAZING especially for the price! I got my son the XL. He’s pretty thin but he’s 5’ 1” and it fit great, even the hat which was a surprise because those are rarely big enough for him. The beard is cool. It looks a little plastic like in the pictures online so I was worried about that, but it’s not. It’s thick synthetic hair. Overall, really happy with the purchase and will very likely order more from them.

When you pay this much for a kids costume you would expect better quality, I have paid half the price for other costumes in the past that were far better quality.I purchased this for a school project and it really looks NOTHING like the photo.Certainly would not recommend this product.

My son needed a Ulysses S Grant costume for a school presentation. This costume was perfect. It looked great, and fit well. He really looked the part and everyone who saw him were impressed. My son loved the costume so much he is talking of wearing it for Halloween

Worked great for my son's 4th grade wax museum project. Didn't use the boot covers since they were a bit tight but everything else looked and fit great. .

Third graders held a wax museum program for family and other elementary grades. Our 8 year old wore the costume for his US Grant presentation. It fit well, and he looked well outfitted. He didn't find the beard comfortable and chose also not to wear the belt. Expensive for a one morning program, but it was a quick and easy way to have an appropriate costume ready for the school event!
