They say to spread the activator, wait a few minutes, and put a drop of glue on the button (and smoosh it around a bit against the windshield). This DID NOT WORK for me. The button fell off the next day (I waited 24 hours) when I tried to attach the mirror. I tried again with the rest of the activator (not much) left in the package, and all the glue left. This time I covered the button in glue. Once again I waited 24 hours. (The instructions didn't say to do this, but I figured I would just to be safe.) Attached the mirror with no problem and it's been a month now and it's going strong.
