Rated waterproof to 147 feet, it includes a floating grip, shutter trigger, and essential accessories, making it the ultimate underwater photography upgrade for adventurous content creators. ## Description The handle is covered with high quality textured rubber, anti-slip for above and under water activities. It can be used with the dome port, or be used on its own as a floating hand grip to keep the camera afloat in the water. The trigger (function as shutter release) helps control camera buttons underwater. The handle and trigger can be used not only with the dome port, but also separately to meet a variety of needs. Hollow watertight grip to fill water at the right buoyancy or use as a storage compartment for small gadgets. Aluminum wrench spanner helps tighten or loosen screws quickly. The drawstring pouch can be used to wipe off water from dome port or to store dome port to protect it from scratches and dust. Simply swivel the rotary knob to switch filters: for magnifying & capturing tiny underwater objects; for vivid and natural underwater scenery. : When you don’t need to use filters, please switch to standard mode without filters. I got a lot of great footage with this housing, and had a lot of fun experimenting. I unfortunately didn’t get a lot of practice with the macro lens unfortunately so I can’t comment. I also chose not to use the trigger, so I can’t comment on that either. The housing is very bouyant so be aware of that. If free diving, make sure you have a weight belt or something to grab onto for filming at shallow depth. The video in this review was taken at about 4-5 ft depth with the red filter. The smudge (if you notice it) was just me being careless, and not wiping the dome port. All in all, it’s a great addition to my uw filming kit. It is acrylic so be VERY careful and mindful not to scratch the dome. It will scratch easily. Have fun! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best purchase!! *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 March 2022* Best purchase!! The quality of picture is outstanding especially with those filters ## Frequently Bought Together - SOONSUN Dome Port for GoPro Hero 8 Black, Dome Lens Waterproof Housing Case with Trigger and Floating Hand Grip for GoPro HERO8 Black Camera, Built-in Switchable Red Filter and 10x Macro Filter - SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO micro SD card + SD adapter, (For Smartphones, Action Cams, Drones, Speeds up to 200 MB/s) A2 App Performance + RescuePro Deluxe UHS-I, Class 10, U3, - GoPro HERO12 Black - Waterproof Action Camera with 5.3K60 Ultra HD Video, 27MP Photos, HDR, 1/1.9" Image Sensor, Live Streaming, Webcam, Stabilization --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/265735691-soonsun-underwater-dome-port-for-gopro-hero-8-black-built](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/265735691-soonsun-underwater-dome-port-for-gopro-hero-8-black-built) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
