I mix it in my Vitamix with water on low for a minute to get the powder fully dissolved. Then I add some ice and turn it on high. It truly is creamy and delicious. Two caveats: I love coconut and this does have a coconut flavor, so that is a plus for me, might not be for everyone. I use stevia in my coffee, so I don't notice a stevia aftertaste with this. If you don't like coconut or stevia this may not be your favorite. So many shakes I have tried need milk to make it good, not this one! Very creamy when blended in vitamix. Many I've tried are gritty to varying degrees. As I mixed it, it is not even remotely gritty or lumpy. When I'm on the go I've also used a blender bottle with the metal whisk ball in it. That does a good job too. Many shakes leave me hungry after an hour or two, but in all fairness they are fat free or very low fat. The coconut milk fat in this sustains me until lunch. This is the only protein shake that I feel is a true treat for me!
