Im glad I bought it now, Works great. The different light patterns you get with a push of a button was awesome, easy to do. Seams to be built well and have not had any issues with it not working and it does not let water into area of lighting area to create condensation. The magnets are bare so to solve the issue of scratching my paint on top of truck I ducted tape the bases to cover them and no more scratch and It does not seem to affect the holding power of the magnets. The light stays where you put it even at highway speeds of over 60 mph. The cord is long enough to mount on top and with my extended cab truck, I run the cord through the rear window and shut the window and still have enough length to reach accessory plug on dashboard with more cord then you need.
