They arrived in great condition and had an extra piece after everything was put together. The only complaint I have is the assembly process. I stained it myself, because the original color isn't the most appealing to look at, and when looking at the instructions they say to "forcefully press it into..." And that caused some of the pieces to chip in places. Retouching up fixed it so this is more of a nitpick.
