Stiff as can be at first but after breaking them in boy do they sound good. They get very loud and don't require a ton of power to do so. Can't go wrong with this entry level sub, much better then the SDR for just a few more bucks.

A: Yes you can, but we both know that's not gonna be ideal for the long term. You will be pulling all of the power at all times and probably overheat your maps. Just hold off and get your bread up and purchase one more amp, and boom! Banging

**Q: Are grills available for these protruding subs?**
A: You can find grills for just about any sub but Skar does not make grills

A: let me just say cuh, it’s loud! i have an suv and all my mirrors shake. idk what kind of car you got, but it sure as hell rattle your license plate in a Sedan. hope this answers your question bud. also, skar and kicker does a great job of describing the speaker in the description.

**Q: How does this compare to a 12inch sub?**
A: Depends on the brand. A 12w7 by JL is a lot louder than most 12s on the market
