**Q: How many containers would i need for a 10x20x10 foot wtorage unit?**
A: All silica gel packets work in air-tight seal container. If they are open to air, they are constantly absorbing moisture in open air and become saturated right away. 
Please, keep them tight seal as much as possible. 
Information below lets you estimate how many grams of silica gel is needed at a given volume of your container. 
This is a general estimate when used in an air-tight sealed container. The amount of silica gel needed will depend on several factors:

The storage unit volume is 2,000 cubic feet and this is too big for silica gel beads to cover.  
We would recommend using dehumidifier or storing items in a smaller container bins with appropriate amount of silica gel beads.

Silica gel beads are for an air-tight sealed environment. They continue to absorb moisture until they become fully saturated. They can bring the humidity level down to <10%.

Moisture absorber contains mineral salt named calcium chloride. These are ideal for small enclosed space like garage, basement, attic, closet, and etc..

Calcium chloride crystals absorb excess moisture in the air and brings the humidity level of about 50% which is an ideal and safe level. These crystals will slow down when the humidity level drops below 60% and will restart again when necessary. This is cost efficient, because the product will works when it's needed and not when it does not have to. 
However, calcium chloride is not reusable.

**Q: anyone use tea bags to use the silica?**
A: Tea bags would work.  Many of our customers also use organza bags or women's hosiery, too.  Just a reminder, blue beads contain cobalt chloride. Our beads only contain 0.005% cobalt chloride.  Even though the amount is very minute, for safety, please, do not use for food or medication.  Thank you.

**Q: Can I use this to refill my Pure Wash cartridge?**
A: If Purewash cartridge uses blue silica gel beads, our beads will work.  If they don't work, please contact us.  We will issue full refund or send you a new replacement even beyond refund period.  Thank you.
