I had an old cuckoo clock that did tic toc and this helps me in the same way once i got used to the different sound. **Q: size is confusing is it 15.5 measuring tail too. I remember first seeing these as a kid in the 70s and it looks the same. Although the company has changed names many times, it's made by the same original company from the 1930s. The only difference from the originals is it's made of thin plastic, unlike the original ones that were metal and bakelite (ceramic) **Q: Where is the hole to hang it located on the clock?** A: It's on the back of the clock near the middle. I can not take it down to look, because once you hang it and its working properly it should not be moved. It's a little tricky but once the eyes and tail are in sync, leave it alone.
