**Q: No instructions!!!   Plenty of fancy espresso/vodka recipes, but no operating manual, or how many tablespoons per cup, etc.**
A: Since a good cup of coffee is very subjective you have to experiment a little. Look up French press recipes on the Internet and they will give you a good place to start. You can experiment from there with more time or more coffee for a stronger cup, or less for a weeker cup until you get it right.

**Q: What is the plastic thing?**
A: The top is PP plastic, looks to be very strong and well made,   The handle is also plastic.attached to the glass container,  The plunger is a metal screen system that filters very well, the top knob of the plunger rod is plastic.  Over all it seems well made and a perfect size for me as a one cup maker.  Price is very good when I bought it. It makes great coffee.  Note that the instructions for use are on the side of the box and not on the recipe instructions as some people have complained where are the instructions. SIDE OF THE BOX

**Q: Is there a warranty on this? Mine broke a few weeks after buying it, i’d like a new one**
A: I don't think so. I just went ahead and bought a different one. Stainless steel.

I like this & the size for making just 1 cup, only issue I have is the top need to be a couple centimeters longer, there is an airgap between the glass & top plunger which there show not be. I have had many of the French Pressers in many sizes & they are all the same they seal the temature in not having a gap that lets the heat out.. It still makes a good cup of coffee, just not more than 4 to 5 mins or its bitter.. THIS IS AN UPDATE- I got two months out of this & a crack appeared in the bottom of the glass becasue the plasice was not thick enough to protect it. Its not like I slam it around on the counter top, so I recommend getting a name brand & spending a few dollars more
