I am currently in this boot provided by my orthopedist for a 5th metatarsal fracture. Healing time being 6-8 weeks with limited weight bearing. I had ankle fusion surgery and it was my time to start to walk again. I'd been off my feet almost literally for around 6-7 weeks. I was scared to put pressure. The Cam boot really provided support coupled with the most important thing for me... confidence to take steps again. Fast forward to 2 weeks into re-walking with this boot. I'm doing great! I'm making strides everyday. I'm very confident in this support from the boot and look forward to fondly putting it away in a couple of months. You can rest easy with this purchase. It's a great decision. It's works great. It's also made with durability in mind and believe it or not. It's really comfortable too.
