The revolutionary speckled Granitium nonstick coating boasts quick release for effortless cooking. Appealing to the eye, this ultra durable coating has a heart of stone—it is fork-proof, metal-safe and extremely scratch-resistant, increasing the lifespan of your pan. The easy-to-clean surface ensures that no time is wasted on washing and more time can be spent on cooking. Ballarini's innovative Thermopoint heat-sensitive handle turns red when hot and green when cool. This lets you know when the pan's temperature is just right for cooking—preventing unnecessary overheating or undercooking—and properly cooled off for cleaning. Made from the most pure aluminum in the industry, the fry pan's cold forged body heats up rapidly and evenly with no hot spots. Three times more energy efficient than cast iron, aluminum is also wonderfully light, eliminating any arm strain. The ergonomic, stay cool handle offers a comfortable grip for maximum control. With Ballarini, experience the ease of nonstick expertise. Includes 10" fry pan and 12" fry pan. ## Features - Cold forged aluminum body ensures efficient heating spread uniformly across the entire pan’s surface - GRANITIUM nonstick coating is reinforced with ceramic particles and revolutionary speckles boasting exceptional scratch resistance for all types of utensils - THERMOPOINT technology guarantees precise temperature control reducing unnecessary overheating and damage - PFOA free nonstick coating offers quick release and superior browning requiring less oil for healthier cooking - Made in Italy ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B01LX1PXGW | | Brand | BALLARINI | | Coating Description | Granitium nonstick coating reinforced with ceramic particles and revolutionary speckles | | Colour | Granite | | Compatible Devices | Gas | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,527) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Enclosure Material | Aluminium | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00816700020367 | | Handle Material | Metal | | Has Nonstick Coating | Yes | | Included Components | 10-inch fry pan, 12-inch fry pan | | Is Oven Safe | No | | Is The Item Dishwasher Safe | Yes | | Item Type Name | Nonstick Fry Pan Set | | Item Weight | 4.2 Pounds | | Manufacturer | BALLARINI | | Manufacturer Part Number | 75001-651 | | Metal Type | Aluminium | | Model Name | Parma | | Model Number | 75001-651 | | Number Of Items | 2 | | Outputcapacity | 10 Inches | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Product Features | Gas Stovetop Compatible | | Recommended Uses For Product | Frying | | Shape | round | | Specific Uses For Product | Sautéing, Searing, Cooking Eggs | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Upc | 816700020367 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BALLARINI - **Capacity:** 10 Inches - **Colour:** Granitium Grey - **Compatible Devices:** Gas - **Handle Material:** Metal - **Is Oven Safe:** No - **Item Weight:** 1.91 kg - **Material:** Aluminium - **Product Care Instructions:** Dishwasher Safe - **Special Feature:** Electric Stovetop Compatible, Gas Stovetop Compatible ## Images ![Ballarini 75001-651 Parma Forged Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set, 2-Piece, Granite - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718xM0h7TCL.jpg) ![Ballarini 75001-651 Parma Forged Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set, 2-Piece, Granite - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71K67g44+0L.jpg) ![Ballarini 75001-651 Parma Forged Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set, 2-Piece, Granite - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nwxALMTiL.jpg) ![Ballarini 75001-651 Parma Forged Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set, 2-Piece, Granite - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZFsJyto6L.jpg) ![Ballarini 75001-651 Parma Forged Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan Set, 2-Piece, Granite - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61xswS-j6-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are there two pans? what are the sizes of each?** A: Yes, there are 2 pans...one is 12" & one is a little over 10"....they are definitely non-stick!!! & they clean up really easy....we had tried that brand at the timeshare but couldn't get exactly the same pan on amazon so I got these....super happy I did!!! **Q: Can you use these to pan fry with no oil?** A: You can use these pans to fry certain foods without fat, but, for best results, we do recommend using some kind of cooking oil. An empty or nearly empty pan can also overheat a lot quicker, which can be very damaging to the nonstick coating. **Q: Why can't you use spray oil on them? Does that mean no oil or butter either?** A: You do not want to use non-stick sprays because the sprays will eventually create a coating on the pan that defeats the non-stick coating of the pan itself. **Q: Does Ballarini have lids that fit these fry pans?** A: I love the pans but can't help you as I do not use covers. I use the scatter proof covers and have no trouble. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXTRAORDINARIOS SARTENES *by on Reviewed in Mexico 4 August 2022* La mejor compra que he hecho en calidad/precio. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best Fry Pans we've ever owned! *by on Reviewed in the United States 10 November 2018* These are BY FAR the best fry pans we've ever owned and used.PROS: First of all, they are truly non-stick. We've cooked a variety of items and nothing has stuck to the surfaces of these pans thus far. Usually, I can rinse 90% of the residue off before even taking a dishcloth to them. Secondly, they lie flat which means that eggs and similar items don't tend to run to the outside edges as they did on some of our other non-stick wear. Third, they distribute heat very evenly so items cook well regardless of their location on the surface. Finally, the temperature indicator on the handle is a nice touch too.CONS: As others had noted in their reviews, both pans arrived slightly deformed which suggests that the packing from the factory isn't as effective as it needs to be for handling. But applying two-handed pressure with both thumbs, I was gradually able to reshape them into a more acceptably round shape. Also, they tend to hold heat, which is good for cooking, but it also means that you need to allow more cooling time before washing them since the manufacturer warns that immersion while too warm might affect the granite finish. On occassion, this has slightly delayed cleanup, but it has not proven to be a big deal. And the nice little temp indicator gives a visible indication of when they are cool enough to wash. ### ⭐ Dented pan received *by on Reviewed in Singapore 20 November 2021* Most likely caused by shipment.
