I purchased a "Cuisinart" brand since they have been known for quality, I've had great Cuisinart products in the past, and did not want a lower quality made pan. Surprise, it's made in China, and clearly not in one of the better factories there. The box was so light when it was delivered, I was expecting the roasting rack only, and may the pan wasn't inside. Nope, all items in the pictures were included, and I think the cardboard boxes are heavier than the actual pan. It says "stainless steel," but it feels like aluminum. I can take my thumb, press on the inside middle of the pan, and physically flex the bottom of the pan. Not sure how this will hold up with heat, roasting heavy birds and meats, etc. Since I purchased this for Thanksgiving, having wanted a better roasting pan, and my options are limited living overseas, I'm kinda stuck with this. I was so looking forward to a great "Cuisinart" pan, and now I feel like I just have to live with it. The box says "lifetime warranty," but I don't know if I'd want a new one when this one does break; and it definitely feels like it will not hold up to years of roasting. If the budget permits, get yourself an All-Clad or a Viking Pan, and don't waste your money on this. Hopefully Cuisinart will return to their formative years and start building solid, quality cookware again in the future. What are the other actual measurements -- width and height?** A: The pan itself is 16" long, yes. But with the overhanging handles it is actually 21" long. It is 13" wide and 3 1/2" high/deep. I roasted a 23 pound turkey in it for Thanksgiving and had no issues with the drippings touching the bottom of the bird. Heavier than the standard pan. Heats quicker and holds heat longer. You can put a bigger bird or roast in it as well. Probably up to 30 lb' s.
