I ask because on their website it explicitly states that unless it's sold by fenix there's no warranty** A: Your warranty will be done through Edison bright which are very hard to contact and deal with. Buy it from Fenix website so they will do warranty work if needed. **Q: Why is this advertised as the fenix pd35 v3.0 with a 21700 battery, 3000 lumens? the fenix website only lists an 18650 cell, 1700 lumens.** A: Fenix website isn't the most informative. There are actually multiple models. And they are not very clear on the differences. That's why I buy most my Fenix lights on Amazon. I stopped buys any of the smaller models and went with a model that doesn't have multiple models. I switched to the either the lr models or the tk models. I have the LR 35R.
