I've worn Il Bacio by Borghese for decades & wanted something different for a change. Have been searching for 10-yrs & found absolutely nothing I liked better... either they were too sweet or strong & masculine, like aftershave. I gave this one a try online without even testing it in-store, based on ingredients & it was a great decision.Love, love, love the smell. I'm not good at describing perfumes, so go by the list of ingredients to determine if you'd like the smell. Previous purchasers said her Malibu perfume smells sweeter, so I'm glad I got Malibu Night instead, because this one is sweet enough for me. But, I don't like sweet smelling perfumes, anyway... I'm like spicy or romantic... I like when someone says I smell intoxicating, whatever scent that is.This perfume is strong, so I spray it once above my head & just let it settle into my hair. I catch the slight smell of perfume all day, which I love. I tried 2 sprays the 1st time & it was too strong to the point that it annoyed me during the day. Il Bacio is still my favorite, but it does fade away after a few hours. With Malibu Night, hours later, my entire bathroom still smells like the perfume, which I love. If you like Il Bacio or the spicy perfumes like YSL Opium or Patchouli (although MB is sweeter than either) or any Chanel perfume, you'll love this. Honestly, it smells like something you think Pam would use.I'll use Borghese 'til the day I expire, but this is a 2nd choice that I'm going to enjoy wearing maybe twice/wk, as well, as long as I can find it. I know it was sold in drugstores, so I'll search around for the cheapest price. But, even if I have to pay $20 on Amazon, it's well worth it. Even though the bottle is small, it will last a long time as 1 spray is more than enough to last the entire day/night.5* out of 5.
