Review: Nintendo Switch now works on my non HDMI T.V. - I was skeptical about buying this after reading a few negative reviews but this 100% works. My daughter was gifted a small HD TV from her Grandparents, which was around 10-15 years old. She, is constantly playing on her Nintendo Switch, so I bought this adapter, to see if it would work with the Switch. It worked straight out of the box, I used an old phone charger adapter to power it, as my TV had no USB port. I made sure the TV settings on the Switch were set to automatic, plugged it all in and it worked straight away. It's not 4k quality but neither is it a 4k TV. It also worked when I tried a Firestick. I have not tried anything else on it yet.

**Q: The signal is continuously interrupted and no sound?**
A: Please check the power and connection cable to see if they are loose. Only supports up to HDMI1.4, NOT support HDMI2.0.

**Q: There are lines on the screen and noise?**
A: Supports up to HDMI1.4, NOT support HDMI2.0.

**Q: Invalid format?**
A: It means it has converted signal successfully, but the device which connects to output port cannot support the resolution you choose. You need to readjust the resolution.

If you have an old tv without an hdmi connection but it does have component video ( the colours on the jack plugs shown) then this device allows you to use modern devices such as Facebook Portal or Amazon Firestick on old TV sets. Game changer.
