That's the best way to put it. This game looks exactly like the original Neo-Geo game, down to every frame of animation. All the characters have been drawn with lots of color, detail, and personality, and it won't take long for you to find one or two that you really click with.Sound (9/10): There's a few great tunes in this game that play in the backgrounds of the matches and menus, but the best song in the game is the one that plays in the opening cinematic that introduces the characters. Also, the game gives you the choice to choose between arranged tracks (which sound really good) and the original chiptune tracks. Both sound excellent.Gameplay (11/10): This game plays beyond perfect. The movement is so smooth that it puts hot knives through butter to shame. Just the feeling of jumping around feels so natural that you'll find yourself doing now and then just for the hell of it. SNK learned a lot about fighting games over the years, and all their hard work culminated into making the combat in this game as tight, responsive, and deep as possible. For casual fighting game fans such as myself, you'll be able to figure most of the special moves and combos with some practice. However, if you are a high skills professional level fighter, this is a very technical game with many aspects to the combat that, once mastered, will always give you the upper hand.Overall (10/10): This game is a definite must own for anyone who owns a Dreamcast. For those who are wondering, it does work with both the VGA box and the Arcade Stick. Is the game worth the high price it commands today? It absolutely is. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy This Game! *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2008* Fatal Fury Mark Of The Wolves is a great fighting game because it's easy to play and more fun than some of the Street Fighter games.The only returning fighter is Terry Bogard,but the other fighters are well balanced and the super moves are easy to pull off.This Fatal Fury game is different from the other ones,this game is equal to SF 3rd Strike.This game is unlike the SF games because the fighters have all good moves,SF games have great characters,but most of them have charge moves and that sucks.The story mode is awesome,but it's so chessy.This game has great sprites when a move is performed and has one of the best backgrounds ive seen a 2D game.The survival mode is hard and the most challenging mode in the game,their isn't that many different modes,but it's still one the best SNK fighters out there.I will recommend this game to any fighting fan who likes 2D fighters.This game has one of the best graphics,it looks like a cartoon.I play this game with my Hori joystick,this game is not as fun with the normal controller.Pros: well-balanced fighters,easy to do super moves,fun and easy to play, backgrounds are well drawn,story mode dialogue,not as frantic as MVC games,arcade perfectCons: no returning fighters except Terry,could use more modes,story mode dialogue ### ⭐⭐⭐ average tournament fighter *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2019* Always been a fan of Joe Higashi.
