Featuring fully functional 62-link tracks, 360° rotating body, and realistic accessories like an openable cab and detachable bucket, it offers immersive, weather-resistant play for kids aged 4 and up. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use, this manual, battery-free model combines educational value with rugged design, making it a top choice for young construction enthusiasts. ## Description The Cat mini excavator is not really mini, but a real giant in its category. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it feels most at home in confined spaces. The excavator arm can also be swiveled towards the side to make it indispensable for landscaping and gardening as well as general building work where the vehicle efficiently moves small quantities of earth. Thanks to its tracked chassis, it can also cope with challenging terrain. The chassis blade gives the vehicle more stability on loose ground, making it more suitable for simple levelling activities. In addition to its realistic playing functions, the model comes with ample accessories. The excavator bucket is detachable. The bonnet at the rear opens, the cab is glazed and its door opens. The excavator body rotates by 360 Degree and the bucket arm by an additional 180 Degree - just like the real thing. Review: Made to play with and LAST - Superior product, super well made. This toy was made to play and last ! Review: Extremely well detailed and sturdy - I bought this as a funny gift for my husband. He built a pondless waterfall in our backyard and for one stage of the construction he needed to rent an excavator. After that part was done I was thinking about how I wouldn’t mind the lack of finished landscaping so much if it kind of looked like we were still working on it. Which gave me the idea to get a toy excavator for a fun little prop. Well, this toy is very well-made, I am still surprised that it is plastic. Since you can move the bucket in various ways, I occasionally move it and load a rock into it or maybe some dirt. He gets out kick out of seeing the excavator “in use” (he never sees me move it, just stumbles upon it in different places and activities on occasion) because it is plastic, it is not rusting or anything. The door opens too, so sometimes I’d like to let him think that the little worker has gone home for the day. ## Features - The Cat Large Track-Type Tractor, crafted with high-quality ABS plastic in Germany at a 1:16 scale, offers a realistic look and movement for immersive play, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use - Measuring 54.0 cm × 28.5 cm × 27.0 cm, this construction toy, item number 02453, is recommended for children aged 4 years and above, adhering to Bruder's commitment to creating toys just like the real thing - The design of this big Cat track-type dozer, featuring a protruding delta crawler track, impresses with its fully functional link track consisting of 62 links, ensuring durability even in challenging conditions like a sandpit - Noteworthy features include an adjustable leveling blade, scarifier, and openable cab doors, allowing Bworld figures to enhance the realistic play experience, making it ideal for both bedroom and outdoor play - With dimensions of 21.3 x 11.2 x 10.6 inches, this powerful construction machine brings realism to children's games while emphasizing safety with a warning about small parts for children under 3 years ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01CJKR100 | | Additional Features | Portable, Weather Resistant | | Age Range Description | Little Kid | | Battery Description | No batteries required | | Best Sellers Rank | #62,123 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #24 in Toy Figure Construction Vehicles | | Brand Name | Bruder | | Color | Yellow | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 727 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Develops Imaginative Play and Understanding of Construction Vehicles | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04001702024574 | | Included Components | CAT Mini Excavator | | Item Dimensions | 16.1 x 6.4 x 7.1 inches | | Item Type Name | Toys Vehicle | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Manufacturer | Bruder Toys | | Manufacturer Part Number | 02457 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 30 day warranty against manufacturer defects | | Manufacturer recommended age | 36 months - 15 years | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | CAT Mini Excavator Vehicle Toys | | Model Number | 02457 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Power Source | manual | | Scale | 1:16 Scale | | Set Name | CATERPILLAR Mini Excavator with worker | | Size | Small | | Sub Brand | Caterpillar | | Subject Character | Farm | | Theme | Construction | | Toy Vehicle Form | Construction Vehicle | | UPC | 777904192376 772223925674 734548584745 782675928024 074413526952 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Bruder 02457 CAT Mini Excavator Vehicle Toys for unisex-children - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81PPftqyH9L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it come with a remote control???** A: No this did not come with a rote control. **Q: s the worker figure man included with the excavator?** A: yes he is **Q: with all the moving parts would it be a mistake to use in a sandbox?** A: These are designed for sandbox play. **Q: Would it fit on the lowboy that comes with the mack truck/backhoe set** A: Yup perfect fit! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made to play with and LAST *by D***R on May 31, 2026* Superior product, super well made.
