Amazing product! *by A***I on May 31, 2023* We started our 11 year old Cat Oscar on Kidney support Gold on 2/14/23. (I wrote a long review about my cats amazing recovery - Kidney Support Gold 2 oz.) Oscar was diagnosed with Hyperthyroid and CKD late October /22. The Vet wanted to put him down there and then. She insisted he was to sick to save and there was nothing that could be done for him. We were devastated by these news, but determined to save him. So, we got a second opinion from another Vet who absolutely wanted to help us save our beloved cat. It was decided that he would be getting Radio active Iodine treatment for his hyperthyroid. BUT, only if he passed all necessary tests at the animal hospital. Since he had CKD he was a risk case, we were told. We had been giving him Epakitin- phosphate binder in his renal wet food for about 3 months, and his kidney levels had improved a lot from this. But, we knew that in order for him to pass the kidney test his levels needed to come down even more. So, I ordered KS Gold and gave him 4 drops twice a day- full dose in his renal wet food for 2 months. He had his pre test for the Radioactive Iodine treatment on 4/12/23. His kidney levels had come down even more, and now he qualified for the treatment. He was successfully treated in hospital 4/17/23, and today 5/31/23 we went back to the Vet for his check up.
