So far it is an amazing BRIGHT little light and I'm very please with it. It is used inside of a closet that has a rather dim ceiling light, and a large metal cabinet that we really do need to see inside of. It does exactly what we wanted it to do!The magnet seems to be very strong, holding tightly to a vertical surface, and it is great to be able to flex the stem to direct the light exactly where it is needed. Be careful to not shine it directly into your eyes - or someone else's eyes - because it really is very bright. Some reviewers said the magnet fell off and others said the flexible stem came loose. So far ours is staying intact. Snake neck is glued onto and base and broke loose/disconnected after first use, The wires didn't break so I re-glued it. The magnet is very weak and is just under 1mm thick.
