I bought one recently and it did not have an eraser. It is a little shorter than I would like. You may have an older model that may be longer. I too lobe this writing instrument. It is very well designed. **Q: does this automatically advance the lead (and/or the next lead) or do you have to click to advance lead?** A: You would need to click the back end (with cap on) to advance the lead. **Q: What eraser refill fits the Kerry automatic mechanical pencil?** A: The eraser would be very small. I suggest getting a Pentel eraser that comes as a rather long eraser tube housed in a pen sized case that advances the eraser. You can 3 of these for less than $4. The gadget is also refillable. A very nice product. **Q: Is the a number two pencil? I have to take exams in college and I am used to regular pencils.** A: I have this pencil and it is so far the best looking pencil I’ve ever had.
