This Checkbook Magnetic Travel Chess Set is perfect for chess players on the go and is used in many countries. Its small form is the size of a checkbook - it can be placed in a shirt pocket, backpack, or bag! Compact yet completely playable, it features a 5.5 inch, green/buff chess board and is one of the strongest magnetic sets available on the market. When not in use, it can be folded up and placed in your shirt pocket, leaving the playing positions intact for later use. A 3rd magnetic panel was added to store unused chess pieces to help keep everything in its' place. WE GAMES listened to your comments and dramatically updated the checkbook magnetic chess set. We went back to the drawing board to create the Ultimate Magnetic Checkbook travel chess set. The main improvements were stylized designs for the chess pieces, extra queens, blank replacement pieces, and a third magnetic storage panel with images for the pieces when not in use. This way when you capture a black knight, you place it where the black knight is supposed to go on its magnetic home. You will always know where your chess pieces are and what position that game is in. By the way, you can use the pieces to play checkers as well - Happy Travels.

Las piezas se pueden ir acomodando en la parte baja o al lado del tablero conforme se van tomando. El magnetismo de las piezas es perfecto, no se despegan, agite el tablero con fuerza y ninguna se desprendió, solo se movieron un poquito algunas, superó la prueba! Así que no me preocupa perder alguna pieza, se que esto no pasará. Me dieron fecha de entrega y llegó a la mitad del tiempo. Lo super recomiendo a diferencia de otro que vi aquí en desertcart, por ser muy práctico y no tener que dejar las piezas por ahí conforme avanza el juego.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you buy the chess pieces if they lose more than 2 pieces?**
A: I don't believe so. You would have to buy the entire new set.   There are a couple of blank discs. You can draw the symbol on one of them of the missing piece.

**Q: How well are the labels attached to the magnets? Do any fall off?**
A: The chess figures seem to be on affixed to the magnets as a sticky label. After heavy use, the “label” of some pieces started peeling off at the edge. I reattached with some glue. I can say confidently that the “labels” don’t easily just fall off.

**Q: can i buy additional spare pieces?**
A: I don't think so.

**Q: can the chess pieces be flipped to make checker pieces and still have different colored backs?**
A: No but you can always play checkers with this

Me super encantó. Tiene el tamaño justo para analizar las jugadas de un libro. Las piezas se pueden ir acomodando en la parte baja o al lado del tablero conforme se van tomando. El magnetismo de las piezas es perfecto, no se despegan, agite el tablero con fuerza y ninguna se desprendió, solo se movieron un poquito algunas, superó la prueba! Así que no me preocupa perder alguna pieza, se que esto no pasará. Me dieron fecha de entrega y llegó a la mitad del tiempo. Lo super recomiendo a diferencia de otro que vi aquí en Amazon, por ser muy práctico y no tener que dejar las piezas por ahí conforme avanza el juego.
