Have had this now for 2 months and it still works as the day i installed it. Peffect for holding a tablet while going off roading on the mountain trails in colorado on vacation. Its not fully rigid. Works as advertised. Things to know in regards to the 2012 KIA Sorrento: I installed this into the passenger side with no problem however after installing this mount, you can only slide your seat forward up to the mount.
