Weighing only 1.6 ounces, it features a full tang for superior strength and a textured G10 handle for secure grip and visual distinction. Designed by Alan Folts for minimalist hunters and anglers, it comes with a lightweight thermoplastic sheath for versatile carry options. Ideal for fishing, hunting, and outdoor survival, the Biwa blends featherweight portability with rugged durability. ## Description A featherweight build for whatever ends up on the camp menu. When even just the slightest extra weight matters, the Biwa /bee-wah/ lightweight hunting and fishing fixed blade knife is choice. At only 1.6 ounces, it tucks away as inconspicuously as a few extra dry flies but comes out swinging when a high-alpine trout hits your line. Designer Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida created the custom knife that was to become the Biwa after weathering pressure from his minimalist hunting friends to create a do-it-all hunting knife that weighs as little as possible. Named after a species of Japanese trout, the Biwa hits the mark. The long distal taper on the satin-finished blade is a powerhouse for paring, capping, and more. When met with the checkering on the G10 handle, it’s crafted so that you’ll know just where the blade is even if the whole knife sinks out of sight. A strong, injection-molded sheath lashes easily to a pack or quickly becomes a neck knife.Creatures of the wilderness, beware.Specifications:Blade Length: 3.02" (76.66 mm)Edge: PlainSteel: 8Cr13MoVBlade Finish: SatinBlade Thickness: 0.11" (2.82 mm)Grind: HollowOpen Length: 6.63" (168.28 mm)Weight: 1.6 oz (45.36g)Handle: G10Style: Fixed Blade Knife with SheathSheath Material: PolypropyleneSheath Weight: 1.1 oz (31.18g) ## Features - Lightweight: This knife weighs only 1.6 ounces - Easy To Sharpen: High carbon stainless steel blade takes an edge well - Strong And Useful: Full tang provides strength - Strong And Visual: Colored G10 handle combines strength with visual appeal - Lightweight Utility: Thermoplastic sheath protects the blade when not in use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08KD7X5MF | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #174,926 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #536 in Fixed Blade Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | Hollow | | Blade Length | 3.02 inches | | Blade Material | High Carbon Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Drop Point | | Blade Type | Fixed | | Brand Name | CRKT | | Color | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (368) | | Handle Material | Fiberglass | | Included Components | Product | | Item Length | 6.63 inches | | Item Type Name | Holster | | Item Weight | 1.6 ounces | | Manufacturer | CRKT | | Model Name | Biwa™ | | Model Number | 2382 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 2382 | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Fishing, Hunting | | Size | 3" | | Special Features | Lightweight | | Style | Fixed Blade Knife w/Sheath | | UPC | 794023238204 | | Warranty Description | 2 Year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** High Carbon Stainless Steel - **Brand:** CRKT - **Color:** Brown - **Handle Material:** Fiberglass - **Included Components:** Product - **Model Name:** Biwa™ - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Fishing, Hunting - **Special Feature:** Lightweight - **Style:** Fixed Blade Knife w/Sheath ## Images ![CRKT Biwa Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath, Brown, 2382 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71X92LLuIdL.jpg) ![CRKT Biwa Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath, Brown, 2382 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31iCcAbJ+xL.jpg) ![CRKT Biwa Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath, Brown, 2382 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31U3jVfE2iL.jpg) ![CRKT Biwa Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath, Brown, 2382 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31DxINBpPML.jpg) ![CRKT Biwa Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath, Brown, 2382 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31yu3FGcVvL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you wear it on a belt ?** A: It has a belt clip, but I don’t think it will be good to wear on belt. Reasoning the clip mounts at the very bottom of the sheath. Or it could be side mounted. Hope that helps **Q: Can this be mounted horizontally as well as vertically on a belt? Some say yes some are saying no** A: Quite a few mounting options ## Frequently Bought Together - CRKT Biwa Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath: Lightweight Hunting Knife, Drop Point Blade with Friction Grooves, G10 Handle, Nylon Sheath with Multiple Carry Options 2382 - UltiClip Slim 3.3 - CRKT Testy Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath: Lightweight Everyday Carry, Textured Stainless Steel Handle, Glass Reinforced Nylon Sheath 7524,Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/268435180-crkt-biwa-outdoor-fixed-blade-knife-with-sheath-brown-2382](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/268435180-crkt-biwa-outdoor-fixed-blade-knife-with-sheath-brown-2382) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
