I needed a non-slip desk pad that was sleek & minimalist with enough space to accommodate my large drawing tablet & mouse when needed. I also wasn't terribly fond of the rounded corners and/or chunky stitching along the edges of many alternatives. This desk pad ticked all of my boxes, and I'm quite impressed with the quality and feel so far. My only complaint is that when I unrolled it, it didn't quite lay flat (which is to be expected). The manufacturer did include instructions on how to flatten it (by gently rolling it in the opposite direction), but by the time I found them, I had already placed some books on the corners. The next day I took the books off, and it was almost flat, but not quite. I decided to try what the manufacturer recommended, and suddenly there were a bunch of wrinkles on the cork side of the mat. Luckily it's not too noticeable from the top side, but I think I would've been better off leaving the books on the corners. The cork material is thin enough that I'm concerned it may break down/crack where it's wrinkled.
