Minwax wood putty filler looks and acts like real wood and can be sanded, cut, drilled, planed, stained, varnished, painted or lacquered.To prepare for application, make sure your wood surface is dry and clean. To apply, use a putty knife to liberally apply to the area to be filled. Press firmly in place. Scrape off access wood grain filler and after approximately 5 minutes, wipe the area around it with a clean, damp rag while the filler is still wet. If sanding, let dry for 2-6 hours, depending on the depth of the patch, then use a sanding block to assure a smooth, flush finish. Easily clean up with soap and water. Review: Excellent Wood Filler for Oak Floors - I used Minwax Wood Filler on my oak wood floors and filled every crack. It was very easy to work with. I put it on with my finger and wiped it right off with a microfiber cloth. The color match was spot-on for oak and blended perfectly. It looks awesome and gave the floors a clean, solid look. Review: Works for cabinet cracks! - I took a chance and this product is a quick easy fix for my maple cabinets that were custom built around 20 years ago and many of the door panels are showing cracks. For the color of my cabinets golden oak was about as good a match as I could want. Fill in the crack with your finger and rub over the circuits with a dry paper towel a special attention to take the dry paper towel and remove it by rubbing vigorously over the unaffected areas of the wood that don’t need filling. Watch your hands immediately.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use and matches well

I bought this woodfill product to patch my engineered wood floor, which has many large scratches and small gouges. I thought I could use a putty knife with it, but for these small areas, it really works better using a finger. For this reason, I marked it down slightly, but perhaps the fault is with me and not the product. It dries quickly and matches my golden oak floors fairly well. The next step will be to varnish those spots and then cover the entire floor, but so far, so good. It's a slow process but so far, I can say that I would buy it again.
