The hood is the right length too so I didn’t have to get that adjusted. The brown trousers were slightly snug around the waist but thankfully the elastic in the trousers helped. I didn’t need to have anything modified so the costume was a pretty good purchase and it looks great once all the pieces are put together. I need instructions :(** A: The pants you put on like anything else, Then start by putting the dark brown shirt layer on. From there, put on the tan tunic. With the two tan stalls drape one over each shoulder. Everything should be kind of wrapped around you like a bath robe. Secure the previous steps with the tan belt and the put the leather belt around that. Put on cloak like a bath robe if desired. Put on your choice of boots and tuck excess material from pants into boots. It can be a little cumbersome to to keep everything together, so I added velcro on mine in certain areas and then it was all fine. Safety pins are a viable substitute if you don't want to buy any velcro. **Q: what does the costume come with?** A: Mine came with a brown short sleeve shirt, brown pants, a white long sleeve 3/4 length shirt, a long brown hooded robe, two long white pieces to drop over shoulders, a short white sash for the waist and a brown leather like utility belt. It all fit great, I added two pieces of velcro to the utility belt though to make it fit right. **Q: Does it come with pants** A: Yes. And the pants are very well made. Size is pretty accurate. I usually wear S/M and bought M. The white tunic and tabard parts are more like a canvas fabric material rather than polyester which is what I wanted. As other reviews I’ve seen mention, the tabards do fall off easily so will need Velcro or safety pin to hold secure. The robes are very large and long in a good way but are like a thick polyester. Pants are similar. Very loose fitting. No issues with the obi (sash). Only issue I have is the belt needs more velcro as I have quite a small waist and I can barely attach the very edge of the exisiting velcro. Otherwise the belt is nice enough with the metal buckle and small pouch.
