Review: A fun toy, kids love it - The toy is durable and well built. The 'owner' kid (5 yr old) loves it and runs the wheels off of it. So far, it's stood up ok. The linkage between remote and loco is kinda fiddly - but she figured out how to point the remote at the loco and is happily starting and stopping, and fiddling the light. Like any battery toy -- you have to put batteries in it. I'm going to try rechargables (nimh) to ease the burden on the ecology, but no experience yet.

A: If Thomas track os same as Brio.  There are numbers of tracks that interchange with Brio

**Q: What happens when the train comes to a Y piece?  Randomly goes a direction or stops?**
A: Hi - the train will go in either direction when it reaches a Y-shaped intersection.

**Q: Is there a special trick to get it to work?**
A: There is no special trick. It can be controlled by pressing forward, backward, and stop buttons on the train. However, it can also be controlled by the remote controller provided that the channels are matched.

**Q: Does this train fit or run on a fisher price geotrax rail set?**
A: We used it on Ikea Wooden rails. I have no idea about geotrax rail set. If you compare them in an Ikea shop, it may help.
