**Q: Does it have the full Detroit Diesel engine?**
A: No, however the "M-113 Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicle w/Figures 1/35 Tamiya" does include the engine and full interior.  They use the same sprues for the the majority of the exterior with the main difference being the accessories that come with them.

**Q: Does the kit come with any of the stowed gear on the outside?**
A: Yes all the pictured rucksacks are included in the kit as well as some small MRE boxes

**Q: Is this a good kit for a beginner? I've never built a model before**
A: If you take your time then it can be. The instructions are super clear and as long as you take your time it will turn out great.

**Q: What is the color of the unpainted model?**
A: the model is a tan plastic

A very nice redintion of the M113 APC. Good detail and parts to make different set ups from desert to woodland terrain. Hatches open and close including the rear troop run off ramp. Well worth it, and of course it's a Tamiya, so the quality is premium.
