I wanted something like my more expensive soundbar in the main living room, something that was in the $200 price range, but I didn't want to spend that much money. The bluetooth aspects of this were not relevant to me, since I use it directly connected with a normal audio cable.It does a reasonable job for the $39.99 price I paid. It would rank a bit lower in my view at the higher normal $49.99 price (as of writing this).It works, but has one persistent problem that cost it a star for me. It sometimes disconnects from the TV when I am switching between what I am playing (such as on YouTube, Funimation or other Roku apps). This could be due to my TV, but I believe the soundbar is at fault since turning it off and on again clears up the problem. It can also ignore volume changes until it is turned off and on as well. This is not bad enough that I will get a replacement, but it is still annoying. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not worth the price. *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2017* The sound bar itself works as advertised. The speaker's volume is more than acceptable, even at low levels it is considerably louder than I would expect. The only reason I don't give it a better rating is because the quality is just not up to what I would expect from a $50+ speaker. I could buy a set of desktop speakers with built in subwoofers that would give 2x the sound quality for under $50. Why even make a speaker bar that isn't going to be any better quality than cheaper speakers?If you buy this, then you're buying it for the sake of having a sound bar. If you're actually wanting a speaker(s) with good quality sound and bass, with options to change the audio settings, then you'll want to leave this sound bar behind and keep shopping.Call it a learning experience, I now know you're better off spending more money on something better as far as sound bars are concerned. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, meh. *by R***W on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2018* The sound is pretty meh. Bluetooth range is mediocre. But, I mounted it in a work van and it got me through the summer. It's strange there is no optical out.
