It's used more for it's benefits , skin, hair.. Etc. But I don't really notice ANY smell. When there is a smell in lotions, & other items 90% of the time it's a synthetic one, not a true real scent. Some ppl do not like the actual " real" smells of pure oils etc. Because they are so accustom to the artificial fake SMELL, lol... This is a great product, ! Little to no scent .
