A: Rosin core solder is better for electronics. You will need to use a small diameter solder, like 1/32.

**Q: Is it acid core and can it be used for solder copper pipe**
A: I used it with Stay-clean flux.  Unsure about acid core.  It is compatible with copper pipe.

**Q: Is this good for copper water pipe in homes?**
A: Yes.  I've used it on copper, brass, silver-plate and even cold-rolled steel.  I used stay-clean flux.  Neutralize with baking soda/water solution.

**Q: need to have a stainless steel  looking joint?**
A: The finished solder seam is shiny.  Maybe not an exact match.
