Otherwise you might be disappointed! I was under the impression from the description that they would be painted white in a condition fit to put on the wall. They actually appear to have just been primed. They definitely need painting before putting up. Also the screws with the fixing kit are the wrong length - they are the exact length of the rawl plugs provided (I.e.they don't account for having to screw through the shelf first!). However we painted ours and put them up with different screws and they look great. The majority of people have remarked on the poor quality, the shabbiness and the fact that the screws aren't long enough. I'm a total nut and bought THREE lots too...complete and utter waste of money.
