It charges both Lithium-ion and Nickle metal hydride batteries. Thing i like the most about this charger is the nice lighted LCD display, it shows all the batt info that you need to know about the batt's charging process. Happy with purchase and great charger for the money, Only about $30. Also has .5A to 1A charging rate which i preffer because the Lithium-ion batteries will last longer when charged at these lower Amp rates. Charger also features a soft ramping up and ramping down charge cycle to also extend battery cell life span. There are other chargers out there with more options but are more expensive than this model.
