It is far superior to the bathroom-style bristle brush that comes with some Capture kits, which WILL damage (shred) your carpet – that’s the wrong tool. This is a true comb and perfect for getting cleansers into the fibers without damage. An essential tool IMO if you have carpet. It really doesn’t remove anything like dog hair (unless you have a very long-haired dog I suppose)... it’s a loose comb that’s perfect for raising fiber or distributing cleaners among the fibers.
