**Q: Can you take these through airport security? Or would they be confiscated like an ordinary corkscrew?**
A: I can confirm that one was confiscated from my bag in FRA when going through security for a connecting flight.  However, YMMV as I was able to get it aboard the first flight....

**Q: My cork puller arrived with grease on the prongs.  Should that be cleaned off, or has it been applied to aid insertion?**
A: Mine arrived with grease. It's not very visible, but you can feel it, so perhaps the others didn't observe it. According to a German website the grease is intentional and they suggest replenishing form time to time, "The steel prongs are factory-wise treated with a foodfriendly grease and should be lubricated again from time to time with a drop of cooking oil. Please wipe Ah-So dry after every use."

A: The cover is metal. Might be stainless steel
