It is a beautiful deep raspberry, and not a fuschia or a magenta as I had thought it would be. There really isn't any purple in it, and in one of the pics it actually looked like a purely purple gloss. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with the color because it's real pretty even though there's no purple undertone to it. I would say when choosing a lip gloss from this line to look closely at the bottle color and ignore the models because they are not representative of what the product actually looks like. In addition, I have had the same problem with this matte gloss as I've had with other matte products, and that is moderate to severe dryness. I've tried everything that I've read from applying a balm and powder before application to trying various lip products after application to make it less dry. The only thing that partially works is to apply a lip gloss after application and this will make the lip gloss transferable to everything that your lips touch. Not exactly practical for me. With this being said, I will still buy other products from this line because I love their colors and if you put the gloss on a bare lip it will stay put, and not transfer to anything which is important to me.
